Abstract
This paper takes Robert,Sobel,Prewitt,Laplacian,and Log and Canny operator to detect image edge.The results of edge detection show that canny operator is the most fit to detect the image edge.Then,according to the results of edge detection with canny operator,authors carry out image binarizing process which combined the optimal global threshold and local adaptive threshold on the basis of edge feature.By using Canny operator,the results show that the method is available to treat images in a high level quality.
