Abstract
The thesis carries out a preliminary research about the confession rule in Canada from the four aspects: in the first place,it elaborates on the scope and the existence intention of confessions rule;Second,it probes into the procedural requirements for its application;In addition,it makes a supplementary explanation about several issues related to the confession rule in Canada;finally,it makes an introduction of some advice on its reform in Canada at present.The paper hopes to deepen people's understanding about the confession rule in Canada,and thus to provide China some useful reference for its current judicial reforms.
