By referring to literature,the article analyses that the financial support and funding,infrastructure,talents recruitment,research and development in cross-disciplines. It points out these are main reasons for University of British Columbia becoming the most influential and advanced in technology. It also demonstrates the practice of innovative team of Sun Yat-sen University in the cross disciplines of medicine and biology. The two universities provide guidelines,including establishing cross disciplinary academic platform and international partnership, incorporating research,education,and development into technology application and transformation,enhancing system and logistic support.These can give good references for other innovative teams at the universities in China.
