Abstract
As a popular and important genre of the literature criticism during the 1950's and 1960's,the Archetypal Criticism originated from Swiss pchychologist Jung's Spiritual and Frazer's anthropology,and its own system is built by a Canadian literary critic Northrop Fryre.Archetypal criticism has also ushered in a brand-new method that can be applied in any time and place for the research on modern and contemporary Chinese literature.
