This paper introduced the development and current condition of world master sports The International Masters Games Association(IMGA) and the World Masters Athletics(WMA) are the two biggest organizations of the master sports in the world IMGA was founded in 1985 in Toronto of Canada and 1st world Masters Games was held in this city Nowadays, the World Masters Games held every four year and was the largest multi-sport competition in the world The WMA had a longer history than the IMGA, and 1st World Veteran Athletic Championship was held in Canada in 1975 So far, a total of sixteen-times World Veteran/Masters Athletic Championships were held in different countries
