Abstract
The Placeness in an urban place is related with its function.Apart from the placeness fromed by its function, the representations of all kinds of text play significant role in placeness consturction. Some texts can reinforce the placeness, but others weaken the placeness. This article introduces the reconstitution of placeness by representation of movies and televisions of the Distillery District in Toronto of Canada.Hundreds of movie and television products, advertising campaigns, and music videos were made in this district in 1990s and the first decade of 2000s.By using two ways, historical and cultural architectures of this district have been changed into the sights of other cities in products of movies and televisions, which alters the authenticity of the Distillery District.Local tenants and workers of film industry benefit from these modifications. The alteration of place by film industry is typical embodiment of placelessness of humanism geography. In terms of cultural continuity, products of movies and televisions are double edges sword that could represent the authenticity of a place and cut the cultural continuity. In this case, the short-sighted way of representation could not maintain the placeness of this district.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
