Abstract
Traditional quarter method in educational type has many problems, such as confusion in the base of classification, unclearing idvision of labour and position in all sorts of education, which have caused people's misunderstanding in knowledge.There will have more clearer standard and position in educational type with the steady infiltration and practice of the idea of lifelong education and learning soci-ety.The article puts forward the half method taking educational content as the base of classification,discusses the position, characteristics and practical mode of vocational education under the guiding of the half method.
