Abstract
Objective To investigate the characteristics of mild vascular cognitive impairment(mVCI) patients' by means of acid phospholipids(AP) and their relationship with the cognitive impairment of these patients.Methods Check the AP of 52 mVCI patients and 48 normal controls.The cognitive functions were assessed by psychometric testing mini-mental state examination,clock drawing test and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment in all subjects.Results The plasma AP levels in the mVCI group were higher than the normal control group P0.05.Conclusion These findings support the relationship between mild cognitive impairment and membrane injury.The measurement of AP reflects membrane injury in vivo and may be a new useful biomarker for the prognosis of cognitive states in patients with VD.
