Abstract

Used organic acids and ammonium nitrate to soak Lolium perenne L.and Festuca arundinacea L.seeds to study effect of germination and seedling growth.The results showed that the optimum concentration of malic acid used in soaking seeds for Lolium perenne L.and Festuca arundinacea L.were 15mmol/L and 5mmol/L respectively,and the same index of using citric acid were 10mmol/L and 5mmol/L.Compared with control,treatment with optimum concentration of organic acids could increase the ratio of seed germination and seed vigor index,simultaneously promote root growth and overground biomass accumulation.
