Abstract
This paper illustrates primary functions of the greenbelt in residential quarter,and proposes greening characteristics of high-rise residential area,multilayer residential area,villa area and outdoor active area after comparing the differences between the greening of modern residential quarter and traditional greening,in order to build high-level greening environment in modern residential quarter and achieve the object of improving urban ecological quality.
