Abstract
Throuth exploring on the key technologies of video analysis and analysing scientific research achievement of domestic and overseas research groups, shows the inner relation between video coding technology, video object segmentation technology, content-based retrieval technology, streaming media transmission technology, and the main points and difficulies of each technology. Through introducing the application of video analysis technology in video monitoring, expect the wide application prospect of this technology in many fields.
