Abstract
Analyzing the mutative effects of chromosome number,seedling percent,growth speed,stomatal density etc. after inducing two states of seeds of Medicago ruthenica( L.) Sojak. cv. Zhilixing by different concentrations of colchicines and DMSO. The results showed: The higher chromosome doubling was treating that seed imbibition with temperature of 20 ℃ for 5 h by 0. 05% colchicine and 1. 5% DMSO,but didn't got into the seedling plants. On this basis,shorten the processing time,the mutant plants grew Slowly and relative seedling rate was 36%,plant mutation rate was 30%,the stomatal parameter variation rate was 66. 7%,by treated with 0. 05% colchicine,1. 0% of DMSO under 4 ℃ and 25 ℃ alternate processing seeds for 2 h.
