Suite aux retards pris par les politiques d’atténuation des émissions de gaz à effet de serre à l’échelle internationale, la question de l’adaptation aux changements climatiques apparaît comme un objet de recherche nouveau pour les sciences sociales depuis le début des années 2000. Néanmoins, les premières études ont relevé l’ampleur des chantiers à explorer et souligné les nombreuses difficultés à lever tant sur les plans théoriques que méthodologiques. Le travail présenté ici propose une réflexion menée à partir d’observations de terrain faites dans la région de l’Oriental marocain et vise à montrer l’intérêt d’une approche géographique qui cherche à replacer la problématique de l’adaptation aux changements climatiques dans les différents registres du fait social et territorial.
