Abstract
Canada is one of the countries who implement STS curriculum in primary and secondary schools. The aim of science education is to foster students' scientific literacy, the four foundation of science literacy have also been clearly identified, and the new integrative pattern of implementing STS curriculum has been pointed out, which includes Science-Technology-Society-Environment.In Canada,it is famous and representative for the STS curriculum in Saskatchewan,British Columbia and Alberta, and their curriculum design and practical experience can give us some suggestions for the science curriculum reform in China.
