The antioxidant activities of NaHS were evaluated by vary methods to measure the scavenging effects of superoxide radical,hydroxyl radical and DPMP·+ radical,the protection against of rat liver microsome lipid peroxidation and protein oxidative damage.The results showed NaHS exhibited high antioxidant activities in all these systems and the functions are in concentration-dependent manner.The IC50 in lipid peroxidation is only 22.04 μg/mL.The SC50 to superoxide radical,DPMP·+and hydroxyl radical are 3.44、1.26、and 54.07 μg/mL,respectively.All these actions are stronger than Trolox-reformed Vitamin E.The protection to protein oxidative damage is effective even in 2 μg/mL and stronger than Trolox,too.These results showed NaHS owed excellent antioxidative effects in all these systems.
