Abstract
Perfect and reasonable teachers' certification system is fundamental guarantee in promoting the quality of primary and secondary teachers.The scientific and strict teacher certification system in Canada,especially the process that Canadian primary and secondary teachers get their teacher qualification certificate,including the requirements,training plans,studying time,training content and how to get credits,provides an essential reference for the improvement of teacher certification system in China,and can be use for reference for solving such major problems of our teacher certification system as low requirements of degrees,imbalance of quality of certification agencies,weak assessment of practicing teaching and simple ways of assessment and so on.
