Abstract
The electoral system of Canadian parliament began in the colonial era, but until the 1960 s did Canadian federal universal suffrage come true. The main factors hindering the expansion of Canada ' s federal right to vote include the conservative political, social, ethnic and religious philosophy of Anglophone rulers, and the driving force is mainly associated with the labor movement in industrialization and influence of two world wars. The expansion of the Canadian federal vote is a complex lengthy process, characterized by a progressive-orientation and great imbalance, which to some extent reflects the Canada' s political culture and diverse conditions.
