Abstract
This paper introduces using theprojections of line segments on xy and xz coordinate planes to make segment line algorithm generated by 2D line to 3D space, and analyzes the errors and the efficiency of the algorithm. Case studies indicate that 3D algorithm possesses characteristics of high efficiency and high precision,which can be used practically in many aspects such as the creation,interpolation of space line and movement control.
