Abstract
The abundance of data available nowadays fosters the need of tools to help users in extracting significant information. To meet this need, a new interactive model, named “Grid-Ball”, is presented in order to help user acquiring most useful information as quickly as possible. This 3D data visualization model is based on the research of computer graphics, psychology and cognition; makes use of the characteristic of association rule and human capacity of information spatial cognition in a creative way. Experiment shows that the model is practical and effective.
