Abstract
The width of sanitary protection zone of China is a function of buffer zone from abroad.This article investigated the buffer zone system and width in the United Arab Emirates of Dubai,Australia of Launceston,the United States,Canada,Mexico,Britain,India and Philippines,the minimum buffer zone between industrial area and residential area in the United States.Moreover,this article provided three proposals to the revision and implement of the width of sanitary protection zone stan-dard in China by analysis of the the current situation of thewidth of sanitary protection zone in china.
