Abstract
Loess hilly and gully region fragile ecological environment,with the social and economic development,the relationship between human and the geographical environment become increasingly prominent.This article through Gansu ProvinceDingxi City calendar population,arable land,grain dynamic data,forecast Dingxi City next 14 years the size of population,food production and further analysis the calculation of the future local population carrying capacity of arable land resources,thus the corresponding measures to mitigate the stress of cultivated land to ease the contradiction between people the geo-graphical environment to ensure food safety in production.
