Abstract

Traditional OLAP based on relational structure and data resource mostly,so it affects analyzing efficiency.In this paper,a general web-OLAP tool is proposed to analyze any standard multi-dimension model present on the web.Multi-dimensional data analysis tool based on Flex three-state control tree was designed in detail.With the access to metadata web service of multi-dimension model and traversal of XML structure tree,the MDX multi-dimension SQL is customized.OLAP analyzing of multi-dimension model on the third-party platform is realized by the XMLA agent along with the dashboard.The results demonstrate that this solution can adapt for the requirements of varying scheme analyzing and provide the managers with comprehensive results.
