Abstract

Aimed at the character of low signal to noise ratio,hard segmented by ordinary threshold of infrared images,a method of infrared image segment based on mathematical morphology was presented.First,the background image was estimated by morphological operations;Then,the original image was subtracted by the background image and got the result image;After that,the result image was enhanced and segmented and got the binary image;Finally,the noise was eliminated by mathematical morphology operator again.Compared with classical Ostu,Iteration,P-parameter.Experiments show that this segment is a practical and effective method.
