Systematic relationship studies of Dactylella using RFLP analysis of the PCR amplified ITS region of ribosomal DNA

Abstract
The systematic relationships of 8 strains of Dactylella representing 8 species were evaluated by using PCRRFLP analysis. ITS was amplified and digested with four base restriction enzymes (Alu Ⅰ, HaeⅢ, Hpa Ⅱ, Taq Ⅰ ). The results showed that the length of ITS varied among isolates ranging between 564 and 595 bp. The restriction digestion patterns were distinctly different among species. Systematic relationshops was embodied basically by molecular phylogenetic tree of 8 strains based on the production of 4 base restriction enzymes digesting by using UPGMA. The result suggested that morphological classification of Dactylella is reasonable.
