Abstract
More Chinization was the mainstream in the development of modern Christian education,and which became the main countermeasures to face internal external challenges in 1920's. The concept of Canadian missionary E. W. Wallace originated from the China practical experiences,and then by partici-pation in Burton Commission the China Christian Educational Association it was extended to national all over China. From the early compromise to Chineseto add elements,and then to part of system ,when E. W.Wallace's Chineseconcept gradually became a reality,problems which was inherent in the communication between Western Christian education system limited its further development. E. W. Wallace's fund of raising for resources became unreachable,image on the Chinese and the West were still a big gap,this was not E. W. Wallace's responsibility.
