Abstract
The imperfection existing in the curriculum reform of basic education includes: the number of students who are streamed for employment is large;educational funds are insufficient;school conditions are relatively unfavorable;the quality of teachers as a whole is relatively poor;and the national condition that educational staff have been accustomed to rigid regulations, is not well considered.Meanwhile,the reform didn't draw experiences and lessons carefully from the past curriculum reforms home and abroad in the aspects of developing educational goal,diversifying teaching materials,teaching practices etc;and it didn't summarize well the experiences and lessons from America,Canada and Britain in the aspects of establishing educational goals;developing curriculum structures;marketizing textbooks;reforming teaching practices and assessment.What's more,the theoretical study of the curriculum reform is not mature;and the practical study has lagged behind.
