Abstract
Taking the esterification reaction of acrylic acid and butanol as examples, the catalytic activity of heteropolyacids and their salts has been systematically studied. Several factors affecting the catalytic activity are discussed. Experimental results show that PW 12 ,SiW 12 ,MoW 12 and BW 12 have higher catalytic activities.
