In order to improve the efficiency of current Dis-tributed Network Intrusion Detection System(DNIDS),a COR-BA-based DNIDS model is proposed,from which a distributed intrusion detection system,called CDNIDS,is designed and implemented.The related issues,such as the system organiza-tion and architecture,component interaction model are also dis-cussed in detail.CDNIDS can effectively monitor network stat-ues and detect intrusions in a large heterogeneous network.
