Abstract
Canada is a country of immigration,and the development of official languages of immigrants is closely related to Canada's overall development.With the two academic visits to Canada in 2008 and 2009,the authors made an analysis and comments on the development strategies of the immigrants' official languages from different perspectives such as direct communication with adequate number of immigrants,analyses of questionnaires,analyses of research reports by scholars,and visits to governments' organizations as well as individual organizations.The author gives constructive advice on real development of immigrants' official languages abilities from macroscopic aspect like immigrants' policies and microscopic aspect like official languages courses.
