Abstract
CuInS_2(CIS) films were prepared by electrodepositing-sulfurization.Scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy were used to observe the surface morphology and determine the composition of the film.The structure of CIS film was charactered by X-ray diffraction.The influence of sulfur source temperature on CIS film properties was investigated.The kinetics of the reactions occurred at the film was analyzed.The results show that the growth kinetics of CIS film is controlled by diffusion,which is different from that of CuInSe_2 film.The synthesized CuInS_2 film has a single chalcopyrite phase with(112) preferred orientation at the range of sulfur source temperature from 300℃ to 340℃.It is found that the CuInS_2 film sulfurized at 340 ℃ with fairly large grain size of about 1 μm is the better choice for CIS solar cells.
