Abstract

Live cell imaging technology has greatly deepened people's understanding of the molecular mechanism of cellulose deposition. Microtubule cytoskeleton involved in influencing normal distribution of cellulose synthase complexes,as well as its organizational and dynamic characteristics. As cellulose synthase interacting protein 1( CSI1),a new study found the relationship between cellulose microfibril and microtubules is very tight. CSI1,as the first non-CESA proteins associated with cellulose synthase complexes,opens up many opportunities for people research about cellulose synthase. The composition of the cellulose synthase complexes( CSCs) and interaction among cellulose protein was reviewed.
