Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between social support and mental health of private high school students,and provide scientific reference for mental health education.Method A total of 220 private high school students were tested with SCL-90 and SSRS.Results About a quarter of testees have low-grade mental symptom.Testees of high score in SSRS have an significant lower score in SCL-90 and its 9 factors than testees of low score in SSRS.Correlation between social support and mental health is significant.Subjective support has played a major role in predicting mental health.Conclusion Social support and the level of mental health has a positive correlation in private high school students.
