Abstract
Taking a residential quarter of built-up areas in Zhengzhou City as an example,the planning methods of the rainwater used as the domestic miscellaneous water were studied and the relevant planning mode was established.The rainwater collection scope should be determined.Then the available rainwater quantity and the miscellaneous water requirement in the planning area were calculated and analyzed.Accordingly,the volume of rainwater storage tanks was determined,and then rainwater purification methods were chosen and rainwater collecting facilities were arranged.Finally,the economic benefits of the rainwater use project were analyzed.This could provide a reference for urban rainwater use planning.
