Abstract
Immature embryo calli of four maize genetypes were used as receptor of PAP target gene,which was isolated from pokeweed (Phytolacca Americana) leavesThen the PAP gene and the Kanamycin resistant gene were cotransformed into the embrogenetic calli by high velocity microprojectile bombardmentPlants were regenerated from resistant calli gained from the selectable medium with G 418 (25 to 40 mg·L-1)The results of PCR and Southern blot showed that PAP gene had been transferred and integrated into maize genomes
