Enseignante à l'Université d'Ottawa, Corrie Scott touche un sujet délicat, celui de la race et de son traitement dans la littérature québécoise.Sujet délicat puisque si on comprend aisément que tout discours racialise les composantes d'une société, on accepte plus difficilement que le discours racial transgresse vers un discours raciste.À l'heure des sociétés interculturelles et multiculturelles, le discours de la race revient hanter l'imaginaire des discours sociaux, il est peut-être maintenant temps d'affronter ces productions discursives qui construisent l'autre, cet alter qui de toute façon aura toujours tort.
