Abstract
A math model of digestion pipe stress was developed by using pipe stress analysis and calculation and stress analysis was conducted by ANSYS.The simulation results showed that thermal expansion of the pipe system made the displacement of the pipe system,stress and moment of restriction system increase obviously during hot starting procedure of digestion pipe.It was very important to design the position of the elbows and supports reasonably to reduce the bearing force loaded on the pipe system.It can also increase the flexibility of the pipe system and security of hot starting procedure while decreasing the construction cost at the same time.The model accords with the actual situation and can be helpful for the design and estimation of large-scale industrial alumina pipe digestion system.
