Abstract
The design of hardware and software of train network interface unit based on HDLC protocol has been discussed on the basis of introducing the basic communication principle of HDLC network. The communication network card was accomplished by using flushbonding CPCI bus and SAB82532 protocol controller. Also, the board driver software and application software was designed, the HDLC communication test was completed in lab environment through calling the API function packaged by ourselves.Test result shows that this HDLC network interface unit meets communication requirement and achieves the expected goal.
