Abstract
As a system of special business exemption,the anti-trust exemption in maritime transport is an exemption authorized by law,which makes shipping business a legal monopoly.Almost every developed country,such as the U.S,Canada and Australia,allows such exemption in its maritime law.In Regulation 1419/2006,EEC abolished exemptions in liner ship transport.On this basis, this article analyzes from such perspectives as concentration degree of liner ship market,market price,market competition its effect on benefited parties including China.It comes to the conclusion that the effect of the regulation will continue the monopoly in the field of liner ship transport.
