Abstract
Objective To study the changing trend of clinical use of blood in Bengbu city.Methods Total amount of clinical transfusion of each year,each month,each quarter,and of each blood type among a 3-year period from 2008 to 2010 were statistically analyzed.Results Total amount of clinical transfusion increased by 10% to 16% per year.The amount of clinical transfusion in March,April,May,October in each year were larger,whereas that in January,February,August and September were relatively smaller.The amount of clinical transfusion in second quarter increased by 3% to 15% than that of other quarters among 3 years,and that of each blood type was in sequence of OABAB.The amount of coagulation factors for clinical use increased year by year.Conclusions The changing trend of clinical use of blood provide the basis for doing well in blood management and put forward the idea of how to alleviate the shortage of blood for clinical use.
