Abstract
The magnetic properties of Nd_(58)Fe_(20)Al_(10)Co_(10)B_2 amorphous alloy were studied by differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry and scanning electron microscope. Because of the descent of the clusters amount in amorphous matrix and the destroy of the precipitated crystalline phase or metastable phase pinning against domain in crystallization process, the intrinsic coercivity, saturation magnetization and remanence decreased with increasing of annealing temperature. Also, it was found that the hard magnetic properties in the Nd_(58)Fe_(20)Al_(10)Co_(10)B_2 amorphous alloy disappeared after massive crystallization mostly due to the absent of couple exchange among the Nd-Fe, Nd-Fe-(Al,Co) clusters.
