Abstract

Struts is one of the most popular frameworks for Web applications and developments nowadays. It brings a very good MVC framework and separate interface and business logic. It aided in the code reusability and flexibility for components development. This paper briefly introduces MVC (Model/ View/ Controller ) designing mode and the Struts framework An example is given to illustrate how to design web applications of MVC patterns using Struts. The result shows that Struts can significantly improve the development efficiency, system maintainability and expansibility.
