Abstract

The paper designs a wireless infusion monitoring terminal based on the infrared detecting sensor and CC2510 MCU. With the infrared emitting diode,the infusion drop speed is detected and transformed into a frequency varying pulse signal. This pulse signal is input to the CC2510 MCU as an external interrupt. The drop speed is obtained by the time lasting between two pulses. The data are transported to the host computer for monitoring via the wireless network. Experiments show that the wireless terminal is reliable with low cost,low power consumption and easy to operate.
