An Analysis of the Driving Factors and Potential of China Shoemaking Industry Export Trade

Abstract
This paper probes into the related data of China's shoemaking industry collected from 2000 to2012 by the method of descriptive statistical analysis. It is found that the gross rate and quantity of export of shoe industry generally have been increasing since the entry into 21 century;unit value basically shows a year-by-year growth;the export market mainly targets at several countries. By using the gravity model,the study then empirically analyzes the driving factor and potential of China's shoes export. The results are:GDP of trade partner and average GDP of China have obvious influence on China shoes export;China's shoemaking industry possesses export potential in Netherland,Korea,Canada,Belgium,Poland,Italy and France.
