Abstract
since the accession to WTO in 2001,China’s commercial banks have developed rapidly through the shareholding reform.At the same time,the overseas mergers and acquisitions by China’s commercial banks have also been in a new stage and have set a good example for China’s enterprises going global.What’s more,it has also played an important role in helping China to go global and enhancing national competitiveness.Nevertheless,the overseas mergers and acquisitions by China’s commercial banks still face some problems,such as being impacted severely by international financial and trade environmental restrictions,imperfection of risk assessment mechanism,shortage of human resources and difficult adaptation of domestic regulations and system with the international community.
