Abstract
Man-made tourism attractions have been an important form for setting up new attractions in China and taken on the trend of being high-end and multi-functional developed.Tourism Complex(TC) is a new category of tourism products that has emerged during such a transformative stage of tourism development.As a vehicle of Tourism-Oriented Comprehensive Land Development,TC steps from tourism land use into the realm of urban land development.By the advantage of integration of tourism industry and other sectors,TC offers a potential way to efficiently develop mixed-use land.There are 3 kinds of land development models for TC,with the strategies of newly development,land substitution,land reservation,land coordination and integration.TC has broken the boundaries of traditional understanding about man-made attractions,solicited from theme parks,in regards of functions configuration,enterprise operation and site selection.
