Abstract
A chip for adding information of pictures and characters into video is applied widely in work and lives. Most products of dynamically on-screen display in market work associating with an external microcontroller. As a result, the space occupied by the system is large, which is not suitable for a mini system design. A System-on-Chip based on FPGA is given in the article, which integrates a microcontroller, storages and an IP of on-screen display into a single chip and functionally verifies the chip design of a System-on-Chip for displaying pictures and characters dynamically.
