Hydraulic overflowing separation is a high degree of accu-racy solution of powder gradation .Single-size distribution of powdercan be obtained by hydraulic overflowing separation,which can be usedon abrading and polishing technology. Hydraulic overflowing separa-tion process onα-Al2O3 powder was studied . Some factors of separa-tion process influenced the results, such as disperser, supersonic et al.The small particle phenomenon was weaken by disperser, but the sizedistribution was widen .Co-action of disperser and supersonic not onlymade mall particle phenomenon weaken, but also led a narrow sizedistribution.
