Abstract

We proposed an algorithm of acquiring and tracking human body skeleton from 3D voxel data. We got the voxel data via 16 cameras. Voxel defines the information of the points in 3D space, including each point in X, Y and Z coordinates. It is a hot and difficult topic in the field of computer vision for us to get accurate and real -time human body skeleton information from voxel data. By using the Quantum-inspired Evolutionary Algorithm (QEA) for reference, it is an effective method to apply the ideas of iteration and optimization into skeleton extracting. The experiment results show that the algorithm is effective and robust in skeleton extracting and tracking.
