Abstract
Network simulation is a new technology of network plan,design and analysis,which verify the validity of the practical scheme.And credible quantificational basis is provided by network simulation.Based on the introduction of traffic simulation and modeling mechanism of OPNET software,a new methods for communication network QoS and performance analysis are proposed in this paper.The methods of ATM network QoS and performance analysis by simulation is validated on the OPNET software in the end.
