Abstract
Canadian writer Margaret Atwood's newlypublished masterpiece Oryx and Crake is a great combination of superb techniques of postmodernist parody and stern themes of science and ecology.Thus,the connatations of the novel are much enriched with unlimited artistic charms.The paper attempts to further reveal Atwood's profound reflections of human civilization and her deep ecological concerns through an analysis of her parody of Genesis in the Bible,events in history and phenomena in reality.
